Wendy Clark
Artist Statement:
Growing up as an Air Force brat, my childhood was spent moving around the country. I turned to drawing and painting as a consistent comfort and a lens through which to understand each new place I lived. I have been painting (and traveling) ever since.
My travels and other artists continue to influence me today, but when it comes right down to it, I like to make people smile with my art.
I love color and bold lines. I love to incorporate whimsy and nature together. I love to portray animal’s personalities. I love the intricate beauty of insects. All these things make me smile and I hope they do for you too.
Bio: Wendy Clark was born in Boston, MA and grew up on the road as an Air Force brat.
She studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design and received a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Georgia.
She lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and two cats. She creates original artwork and paints pet portraits.

Jennifer Dean
Artist Statement:
While she grew up drawing, Jennifer’s move to Seattle from the Midwest in July of 2016 was what kicked her art creation into high gear. When she realized how large and
supportive the art community was in the Pacific Northwest she couldn’t help but paint and experiment with new mediums. 2017 was the first year she displayed her work publicly and is truly
enjoying the process of creating new collections for each new opportunity that arises.
The paintings featured here are her latest watercolor works featuring scenes from the Pacific Northwest. She’s been enjoying experimenting with how the ink interacts and moves around on the paper and that isn’t always predictable in it’s nature. Jennifer is inspired by the beauty of nature, everyday objects, and appreciates the simple things in life.
When she’s not painting or producing marketing content for T-Mobile, you can find her snuggling her cat or her husband
(or both). She also loves food, laughing, movies, nature, and has plans to one day turn her passion for painting and mentoring others into a full-time business. She also finds it very odd to talk
in third person.
If you’re interested in purchasing a piece that’s displayed here or would like to discuss a commission, feel free to get in touch with her! She loves meeting new people and creating custom pieces of art tailored just for them.
