Artist Statement:

Heli Ojamaa is an Estonian American designer and artist originally from New Jersey, but who now considers Seattle home. Even though pursuing degrees and a profession in Architecture and Architectural Lighting, Heli has always pursued various forms of creative expression including furniture design, photography, watercolors, drawing, and more recently papercutting.  She has enjoyed experimenting with how different disciplines and artistic mediums can inform and enrich each other and finds inspiration from nature and her Estonian cultural heritage.
